Une journée à s’amuser !
L’association de Limoges Le Sous-bois nous invite le dimanche 23 juillet aux Cascades d’Augerolles à une journée autour de l’art postal.
Qu’est-ce
que l’art postal ? C’est l'art d'envoyer des lettres décorées.
L’enveloppe et la carte sont un support d'expression artistique et
adressent un message par l’image et par le texte.
Rendez-vous
sur le parking du Compeix, à côté du restaurant,
à 10h. Vous trouverez tous les détails sur le document
joint.
Matin :
la marche autour des cascades dure 1h30. La première partie descend
beaucoup et la deuxième partie, le long des cascades, monte beaucoup.
Vous pouvez vous contenter d’aller jusqu’au moulin ou la tourbière.
Pique-nique tiré du sac.
Après-midi :
nous ferons des collages à partir de pages récupérées (magazines,
publicités…) et de matériaux et végétaux collectés sur les lieux. Nous
les enverrons à nos amis.
L’association
Open Door fournira une grande table et les documents papier. Si vous
désirez participer, merci d’apporter une chaise. Vous aurez besoin de
ciseaux et de colle et vous pouvez bien sûr apporter vos papiers.

A fun day !
The association Le Sous-bois, based in Limoges, invites us on Sunday 23 July to the Cascades d’Augerolles for day around postal art.
What
is mail art ? Mail art, also known as postal art and correspondence
art, is an artistic movement centered on sending small-scale works
through the postal service.
The meeting place is the car park near the restaurant in Le Compeix at 10.00.
Morning
: discover the beautiful water falls near Augerolles. The full walk
down and up the river lasts around 1h30 but you can take a short walk to
the mill and to the peat bog.
Bring your own lunch.
Afternoon : We will make collages with paper scraps and material or plants gathered on the site and later send them to friends.
The
association Open Door will provide a large table and the paper
documents. If you want to take part, please bring your own chair. You
will need a pair of scissors and some glue. You can of course bring your
own paper documents (magazine pages, adverts…).
If the weather is unkind, we will go to the hall in Saint Pardoux Morterolles.
